Donemana Hav Chair erson's Re ort 151A ril 2022-31$t March 2023 This is the Annual Report for Donemana Haven for year ending 31 $t March 2023 which l am delighted to do. It still has been a challenging and successful year with the cost-of-living increase affecting rural dwellers. We are pleased to report that we are still maintaining a reliable services of meals on wheels to dwellers in the Donemana, Artigarrfan, Ballymagorry, Bready and Magheramason areas. This is a life line for many vulnerable elderly people who are housebound and continue to live in their own homes and maybe the Volunteer is the only person they will see that day. The luncheon club has resumed and numbers are 6-10 members, This service helps members with social isolation and mental health within our rural area. We have also linked up with the CARE programme which has a social Tuesday class after the luncheon Club 1 pm - 2:30pm which provides different activities l am pleased to report that we have been successful in securing funding from DAERA Micro grants and Dalradian Gold. We purchase Teapotslcoffeepots, counter top boiler and a pop-up marquee which will be used at the Luncheon club and other events including outside events with the DAREA Funding. The Dalradian fund was used for meals on whe81s van running costs. The funding ensures we can still continue to deliver an affordable service for all older people within the Community area. Finally, I would like to thank our funders, Volunteers and Hilltop café who deliver this service, without volunteer support and dedication we would not b8 able to provide this valuable service to the elderly people in the area. Thank you also to all those who have supported and will continue to support us in Dennett Interchange and also to everyone who rec8ives Luncheon Clublmeals on wheels service.
