Objectives and activities (continued)
During the year the charity organised a number of events in order to achieve their charitable
purposes. The committee organised a 'Colour Hamper. for the Christsnas ballot this year, with
donations from the parents, 17 Hampers were included with a number of prizes donated by
local businesses, this w&s a great success and well received by all. To help parents out while
the cost of living is rising, we gathered pre-loved Christmas jumpers before Christmas Jumper
Day and made these available with an optional donations box, we felt this really helped parents
out during an expensive time of the year. Our Spring Fair this year was a huge event within the
school and the committee put in every effort to ensure a good time for all, this was a very
successfvl event and is always well received.
Achievements and Perforniance
Usually the school have a 'wish list, of items that they would like to purchase. The PTA were
able to provide additional funding of over £11,500 towards these extra resources not provided
for by the school budget. These resources are used to compliment the curriculum and make
our children's learning experience more fulfilling and exciting,
PTA events not only raise funds, but also promote a positive presence within the community
and bring a feeling of togctherness within the school.
Public Benefit Statement
In setting objectives and planning activities for the year the Trustees have given careful
consideration to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefit and
are confident that the activities have helped to achieve the charity's purposes and provide a
benefit to the beneficiaries.

Reserves Policy

financially supporting the school with funds to purchase resources for the educational needs
and advancement of all the pupils of the school whilst strategically retaining sufficient reserves
to cover the initial expenses to future planned events.
