Crossma len U3A AGM rd 3 December 2019 The meeting was opened by our chairperson, Raymond, who welcomed all present. There were Ienty-three members in attendance and an apology was received from Kathleen Tully. The minutes of the 2018 AGM were read and adopted on the propo1 of Kathleen Mcconville and seconded by Kitty McBride. The chairperson thanked the secretary and there were no matters arising from the minutes. Kathleen distributed Copies of the treasurerfs report and in her presentation pointed out that the main expenditure was the room rental of £25 per week at an annual cost of £1,300. After a short discussion, the treasurer's report was adopted on the proposal of Margaret Mcconville and seconded by Brigie Mcmahon. Events Officer Report Tony handed out copies of the report to members attending. Election of Officers Tony informed the meeting that he would be standing down from the post of Events Officer. Raymond, our chairperson thanked Tony for his commitsnent and dedication to the post and for all the work that he had done for our U3A group over the past two decades. Brigie Mcmahon took the chair for the election of officers.
