Governin Document Armagh Boys & Girls Club is constituted as a charity under a trust deed dated 2nd May 2006 and is recognised by The Charity Commission lor Northern Sreland (Reference Number NIC 1009341. ectives and Achievements The aims of the Club shall be to serve young people, the local community and the District of Armagh by providing a happy and healthy environment in which young people may meet one another and other responsible adults, to engage in worthwhile leisure pursuits and deve5op a sense of responsibility fDr service ro the community. We aim to provide a safe health environment for the enviTons by providing facilities that promote the aims ol the Club. We promote rural development and cultural awareness in the area ol benefi't and work with relevant organisations and individuals to develop a strong community infrastructure and provide support to other organisations and individuals who share our aims and objectives. Achievements and Performance We have achieved our aims and objectives by the interest in our programme of activities, events, recreational, and by the numbers in attendance. We were acknowledged by the Lord Mayor ol Armagh and District for our outstanding work within the community and the leading sport representative organisations such as IFA. NIWFA & Mid Ulster League lor our contribution lo both senior mens football and junior ladies loolball.

This provides sufficient funds lo cover running costs which include managernenl, administration and support costs. Plans for Future Periods To continue building upon the work we have done. To provide a safe meeting place for the community. This will enable the environs to engage in community events in education. healrh and well-being, and recreational activities. We aim to prornote rural development, culture and heritage in the area ol benefit. We plan lo enrich. engage. educate, the beneficiaries from all abilities and ages to participate, encouraging social and personal development and inleraclion, Res onsi_bilities of the Trustees The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards [United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practicel. Company law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and lair view ol the state of affairs of the charity and ol the incoming resources and application ol resources. including the income and expenditure, of the charity lor that period. In preparing these financial statements, the Irusiees are required to.. select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently., observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP., make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent., slate whether applicable UK Accounts'ng Standards have been followed, subject to any material depariures disclosed and explained in the financial statements., prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charitable company will continue in operation.
