## Activities

**Purposes:** The group is the established community group for the Ballycarry area. The objects and purpose of the group is as follows;  To promote and enhance a sense of identity in the Village of Ballycarry and district, to encourage a sense of community pride and mutual co-operation amongst those living there, and to do so in such ways that no financial or material profit shall accrue to the Association. (b)	To provide the services of a community centre for the benefit of people living in Ballycarry and district or with a defined interest in the area, to support all sections of the community. (c)	To promote benefit of the inhabitants of the district, without distinction of age, sex, race, political or religious creed, by bringing together relevant statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to enhance education, and to provide facilities and activities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation, with object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants. (d)	To promote and facilitate such cultural events and activities, representative of the interests of the entire local community which shall foster local creativity and a sense of cultural heritage, for the social and cultural enhancement of the whole community.
