The association evolved from several projects led groups and the parent's
association of the local primary school. Activtties carried out by the group
can take place in the school grounds with the ag￿ernent of the
management of the school.

Ob"ectives and activities
The main aims of the association can be summarised as follows:
To relieve poverty, sickness and the aged and to promote the benefit of
the inhabitants of the Glencull and district area of Co Tyrone and its
environs without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other
opinion.
By associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and
inhabitants in a common effort to advan￿ education, and to provide
facilities in the interests of social welfare, for ￿ creation or other leisure-
time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the
said inhabitants.
To establish or to secure the establishment of Communty projects and to
maintain them and to manage to cooperate with any local statutory
authority in the maintenance and management of such projects for
activrties promoted by the Association and its constituent bodies in
furtheran￿ of the above objects.
The advancement of the educational, moral, mental, social and cultural
wellbeing of the students of Glencull Primary School. St. Malachy's and
other children of the area without distinction of age, sex, race, political,
religious or other opinion.

The committee acknowledges the role of the volunteers in the
organisation. They have bettered the lives of the community at Glencull.
They have spent numerous hours planning and carrying out activates
that benefit the whole community.
The committee have subgroups continually working on projects based in
and around the grounds of the school. The activities held during the year
would not have been possible without the help of our volunteers and
grant applications for various projects could not have been successfully
completed if it weren't for the work of the subcommittees.

Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during the year
This year we resumed the evets that we host for the children in the
school that are making their Holy Communion and in addition it was
decided to host a party for those children making their Confimiation also.
The building works in the school and the new 3G pitch were completed
during this year so it was decided that we would host and event to
celebrate to official opening of the new school hall, this also doubled up
as our annual school fun day that was halted due to covid.
These events were aimed at building relations within our community that
has suffered due to the pandemic. The Primary school is in an ideal
position within the community to help bring all the community together.
Members of the committee and other parents will volunteer to organise
and run these events and provide refreshments.
There are still some additional groundworks, including fencing to be
completed around the 3g pitch and they are hoped to be completed soon.
The new 3G pitch has been used to host the new GAA for all initiative
within our local community. This is such an invaluable asset being
enjoyed by the whole communty.
The projected competition date for the groundworks is July 2024

Financial review
The association hold £14,289.83 in the bank account, all of which is
unrestricted funds. None of this is placed on reserve as the association
have no commitment in relation to expenditure. All monies should be
used for the benefrt of the local community.
