## **Independent examiner’s report to the charity trustees of Lisburn 2gether Special Olympics** 

## **FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 AUGUST 2023** 

I have examined the financial statement of Lisburn 2gether Special Olympics for the year ended 31 August 2023 and have prepared the accounts of a receipts and payments basis. 

This report is made solely to the charity’s members, and work has been undertaken so that I might state to the charity’s members those matters, which are required to state to them in this report and for no other purpose.  To the fullest extent permitted by law, I do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than the charity’s members as a body, for this report, or for the opinions I have formed. 

It should be noted that due to COVID19 this charity has not produced any accounts until 2023. 

## **RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER** 

It is the Trustees’ responsibility for the preparation of the financial statements and for being satisfied that the information that they provide give a true and fair view of the charity’s position at 31 August 2023.
