GILLYGOOLEYYOUTH CWB TRUSTEE REPORT FOR YEAR ENDING APRIL2023 Duringthe 2022-23year.we have seen ouryouth Clubgrow in numberwith 26 registered children. This is a greattestamentto our localcommunityand shows greatsupportfor our cLub in the area. Club members have participated in a varietyof activtties both inthe centre and in premises such as Aladdin's Kingdom. In the centre they enjoy a variety of sporting and cralt activitses on a weekty basis which includes jumping c18y, arts & crafts, role-play. team games & yoga. The club has also recently become involved with Gillygooley 2- Youth and hold an annual intergeneration81 event where the members from each group work together. This yearwe held a planting workshop & aftemoon tea event for both groups. This event was very well received from aLL involved and it was lovely to see both generations interacting and building a relationship. We hope this WILI now be an annual event. It is a great testimony to the leader's and trustees that the club receives very positive feedback on the behaviour and respect shown by members towards each other and other members of the general public when visiting other centres for activities. In order to encourage community awareness and participation the club members help to decorate the hall and wrap the presents for the Senior Citizen's Christmas Party. Some members also help to provide the entertainment and the interaction is enjoyed by both young and old alike. Another project this year was gatherfood to create tood hampers to donate to the foodbankthis Christmas. This was a great success and extremely rewarding. We look forward to planning the new activities for 23-24 Year.
