Our aim is to give as much freedom of choice to children as possible. We achieve this by having weekly
Kids Inn discussion meetings, to gather ideas and personal interests from the children. We then draw up
our programmes around these interests.
The play workers set up optional daily activities for the children to participate in
The playworkers aim to extend the chiSdren's play opportunities by providing them with
resources required to build on and f urther their ideas
The play workers will give the children their own space to develop ideas in play and will only
intervene if the child requests for them to do so of for health and safety reasons
We have boundaries and agreed rules within the group which are on display, the aim of this method is
to promote positive behaviour.
All play workers are made aware of the play values and principles at their induction and implement
these within their practice daily. We also aim to provide training in order to support the play worker5
continued professional development,
