**Purposes:** Men Against Cancer[MAC] is established to relieve sickness and to preserve and safeguard the health of the public of Northern Ireland, in particular by the provision of clinics which specialise in cancer prevention, detection, and treatment and by the promotion of medical research into the causes and treatment of cancer and to publish the useful results of such research [ the primary target being cancers which affect men but so that the objects and activities shall not be limited to cancers which affect men only.]
