registered office is Unit C3 Edenderry Industrial Estate. 326 Crumliii Road, Bellast, Co. Antrim, BT14 7EE,
Northern Ireland.
1.1 Accounting convention
The accounts have been prepared In accofdar)ce with ihe charity'5 governiiig document, the Companies
Act 2006 arid "Accouiiting and Reyurtiiig LI￿ Cliarilies.. Stateinent of Reouii Iiiieiided Practice applicable to
charitie5 prepai'ing their accounts In acrordJii=e with tl)e Financial Fleporting Standard applicable in the
UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 102 ias amended foi accounting periL)ds commencing from 1 January
20191, The charity is a Public Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102,

charity has adequate resources to conlinLJe In operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the
trustees continue lo adopt the going concern basis of accounting iii prepai'ing the financial statements.
1.3 Charit?ble funds
Unrestricted funds are available for Ljse at the discr'etion cf the trustees In furtherance of their charitable
objective5.
Restricted funds are subject 10 specific conditions by doiior5 or grantors as to how they may be used. The
purposes and u5e5 of the restricted funds are set out In the notes to rhe financial statements.
1.4 Income
Income is recognised when the charity Is leg311y entitled to it after any performance conditions hwe been
met, the amounts can be measured reliably and it Is probable that Inconie will be received.
Cash donations are recognised on receipt Othei donations are recognised once the charity has been
notified of the donation, unless pertormance conditions require deferral of the amourst. Income tax
recoverable in relation to donations received under Gift Aid or deeds of covenant is recognised at the
time of the donation.

1.8 Cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents include cash In hand, deposits held at r.all with banks, other short-term liquid
investments with original maturities of three months or less, and bank overdrafts Bank overdrafts ￿e

transaction price including transaction costs and are subsequently carried at amortised cost using the

committed to terminate the employment of an employee or to provide termination benefits.
1.10 Retlrement benefits
Payments to defined contribution retirement benefil schemes are charged as an expense as they fall due.

In the application of the charity's accounting policie5, the tru5tee5 are ￿qUired to make JUdgem￿t5,
estimates and assumptions abotsl the carrying amount of assets and liabilities that are not readily
apparent frorn other sources The eslimates and a550ciated a55UlnPtions are based on historical
eKpenence and other fartors that are considered to be relevant Actual results may differ from these
estimates.
The estimates and underlying assLJmptions are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Revisions to accounting
estimates are recognised in the period In which the estimate is revised where the revision affects only
that period, or in the period of the Tevision and future periods where the revision affects both current and
future periods.

21 Prior period restatement
Certain comparative Inforrnation has been festated in the currenr ftnancial statements due to a prior
period error.
In the prior period a restricted grani was received for the purposes ol capital spend The capital asset was
purchased in the prior period however the cost of the capital asset was expensed 35 unrestricted
expenditure in the staternent of financial activities The grant income In respect of this was recorded in
deferred income.
The appropriate treatment of this grant receipt and capital purchase will nave been to reco9nise the grant
income in full In the year as restricted granr Income and lo recognise the purchase as a capital addition.
