**Purposes:** • To advance & promote education & skill development of the public (especially the local community), focussing on the local, history, heritage and area, in any charitable way.  • To advance community development for the benefit of the inhabitants in and around Ballylough, in particular through promoting improved infrastructure.  • Incidental to the above objects, to encourage young students - who are in need of assistance to put their skills into action - by actively seeking to employ such persons through voluntary or paid work in any area of the charity’s work.   Nothing in the articles shall authorise an application of the property of the charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
