Hillcre5t Trust (Top of Hill) Ltd w&8 established in 2001, the charitable Company is managed by directors who meet
regularly to review activities and plan for thture projects. New directors are nominated by Current trustees. All of the
directors due to their experience and backgrounds are already familiar with the work of the charity.

The directors have a risk management strdtegy which LX)tsists of establishing a system of identifying risks and
mitigating such risks. Int¢rnal control risks ate minimised by the implementation of procedures for authoTisation of
all transactions and projKts.
Fiftantial revlew
The charity I￿ incurred a su￿]￿$ in the year of £13.309 (2023 - surplus £61,265), the reserves at the end of the
financial year are £210,715. Jncome and expenditure 15 expected to vary from year to year depending on funding
received and activities organised.

In the past the director5 have agr￿ that a designated fund would be s¢t up to ensure that 6 months operational costs
would be covered in the event of withdrawal or gap in funding. At the begim)ing of the Current financial year the
designated fund balancc was £175.000. The directors agreed not to transfer unrestrided funds in the current year to
the designated fund. Directors will review this annually.
Directors Responsibilities in Relatlon to The Financlal Ststsments
The di￿torS are responsibl¢ for preparing the Annual Report and the fmanGial statements in accordance with
applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Acceptsd Accounting
Pwtice). Company law requires the directors to prepare f￿anCIal statements for each financial year. Under
Company law the directors must not approve the financial statements unless they are satisfi¢d that they give a true and
fair view of the state of affairs of the Gharitable company and of the incoming resour¢¢s and application of resources.
