## **The Warehouse Project 2024 Report**

This has been another exciting, fruitful and successful year. As we have been with these kids for quite a few years now we really feel we are beginning to make good deep connections with the young people. We feel are having a major positive influence on them and can see them beginning to grow, develop and mature.

## **Summer Intervention Project**

During our summer intervention project we have been able to provide a summer project funded by EA for around 30 young people who attended this project. This cross community project created diversionary activities and educational workshops to help the young people gain greater understanding of what is considered to be “the other side”.

As part of our summer work we took the young people on a residential to Ganaway youth retreat centre in Millisle. During this week the young people really bonded and connected through team building exercises and outdoor activities.

## **Summer Camps**

We were able to organise a summer camps project with TBUC. This project worked with 20 young people who engaged in activities and workshops and attended a residential trip to Lusty Beg.

## **Summer Scheme**

We were able to partner with City Life Projects and provide a summer scheme full of activities, games, arts & crafts and much more during the months of July & August. Around 50 young people attended this project.

## **Weekly Activities**

Our weekly activities comprise after schools drop in, Friday night drop in for older teens, Saturday night youth club and Sunday night small group activities.

We have around 100 kids attending the youth club on Saturday nights and around 40 attending the new Sunday night outreach with about 20 attending the after school drop in. We also have around 30 young people who attend and been part of specific projects or midweek drop in.

I would again like to thank all the volunteers who make this project possible and provide a place of safety for the young people to come and have fun.

I would also like to thank those who have funded and financially supported us during the year.
