Annual Report & Financial Statements FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 OCTOBER 2025
A MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRPERSON
It is my privilege, on behalf of the Trustees, to present the Annual Report and Financial Statements of Mourne Gospel Fellowship for the year ended 31 October 2025.
This past year has been one of steady ministry, thoughtful planning, and continued commitment to both spiritual growth and community service. As a Fellowship, we remain grounded in our core purpose: to glorify God through the faithful proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the encouragement of believers, and the practical demonstration of Christian care within our local community.
Throughout the year, we have continued to prioritise worship, prayer, and biblical teaching as the foundation of all that we do. Our regular services, midweek gatherings, and monthly prayer breakfasts have strengthened the spiritual life of the church family and provided opportunity for encouragement and fellowship.
We have also seen meaningful development in our leadership structure. In January 2025, Planning Team Leaders and Prayer Team Leaders were appointed, and a new Trustee joined during the year, strengthening governance oversight. Preparation has been undertaken for the submission of a planning application for the next phase of building development.
Our commitment to community outreach has remained central to our work. Through the Community Clothes Bank, Community Café, youth initiatives, and mental health support group, the Fellowship has continued to provide practical and pastoral support to those in need. Since February 2025, we have served as a referral partner with the Fuelbank Foundation, and do not hold or administer Fuelbank funds.
Safeguarding and governance remain of utmost importance. All volunteers completed safeguarding refresher training during the year, leadership roles were ‑ updated, and a full three year safeguarding policy review was completed.
My personal prayer is for the Kilkeel community, that we would see a genuine spiritual breakthrough in the days ahead, with lives transformed, hope restored, and hearts renewed
