**Purposes:** The Charity’s objects (“Objects”) are to:  (1)	Advance to the benefit of the public the protection and improvement of the environment through the promotion of energy efficiency and renewable energy by: (i)	promoting good environmental practice; (ii)	providing information and advice; (iii)	providing consultancy services to communities; (iv)	conducting research relating to the utilisation of energy conservation practices and renewable energy technologies and to use the research for the public benefit.  (2)	Advance the education of the public in energy efficiency and renewable energy by increasing awareness of the benefits of reducing carbon emissions and of promoting effective ways to make such reductions.
