AGM MINUTES FOR 2018 - 2019 Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of Diinsford Arts and Craf ts C7roup held in Dunsford Hall on Thurgday Il, April 2019. The Honorary Chairman, 8abs Bassett, welcomed everyone. There were apologies f rofft Florence Haslett, Roisin Alexander, tlachel Davidson, Chris and Mabel Mccomiskey. The Chair gave her Annual Report in which she thanked her fellow off icers for their work, especially Ilogemary Wilgoft and Ilooney f or 9ettin9 f undin9' she appreciated that members attendpd so regularly and also the help of Daniella f rom County t)own Rural Community Network f or her usef ul input. The Honorory Sec.retary, Kathleen Gill, outlined the group's activities during the past year, workshops, fundraisers, outings etc. and the Co-secretary. Rosemary, explained where funding was f ratn aud vihat it was uged for.. an outin9 With a walk included, new choirs, sewin9 machine tables, a pr'ojector screen and tutors, f eeg. The Honorary Treasurer, Naomi, gave details of the Income and Expenditure of the group, with a healthy closing balonce of about £600. The CEiair wag handed over to Daniella frohl CDRCN who thanked the committee ond its of f icers f or running the group so well. 'fhe business of choosing a new committee took place. The eyisting committee as taken on again with no new names coming forward. Babs was proposed as Chair by Bridle Fitzsimons and seconded by Anne Liggett. Bridle. was proposed for vice chair by Kathleen and seconded by Naomi. Kathleen was proposed os Secretary by Deirdre Forbeg and geconded by Anne. Rosemary was proposed as co-secre*ary by Babs and seconded by Kathleen Yeo. Naomi was proposed as Treasurer by Adele Rea and sec.onded by Eileen Milligan. The next committee meeting will be held on 16 May. Daniella told the group about Tai-chi classes at the Bollymote centre and about the start of the walking group season. There followed a most interesting talk by a representative of the Royal National Lif eboot fnstitute, T.on Harrisoii. He outlined a history of the association and the great work that it tarries out. A donotion was, made to him by the group for the benef it of kNLI. kef reshments were enjoyed by all.
