## Activities

**Purposes:** The Charity’s objects (‘the Objects’) are to promote the benefit of the residents of Kilcooley and its environs (the “area of benefit”) without distinction of age, sex, sexual orientation, race, ethnic identity, political or religious or other opinion by co-operating with residents, voluntary and community organisations and statutory agencies in a common effort to:    (a)	relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, infirmity or disablement, social and financial circumstances or other disadvantage;  (b)	promote health and well-being and community participation in healthy recreation and amateur sport;  	(c)	advance education and training and promote culture by organising: 		(i)	adult education classes; 		(ii)	festivals and other cultural events;   (d)	provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for residents in the area of benefit.
