The above named individuals served {and continue to do so } as Directors/Trustees of Angling First
Ltd{hereinafter referred to as the Company} in accordance with the companies Memorandum and
Articles of Association which are: To promote the benefit of children and young people of in the
main, 18years, by providing access to a leisure time occupation of angling so as to develop their
physical, mental and social skills with the object of improving their conditions of life so that they may
grow to maturity as individuals and as members of society and to act as an aid to the social inclusion
of the said young people. The same above people seek to state that they have served with the full
regard to the Commission’s public benefit requirement statutory guidance for the accounting period
covering the 01/03/25 to 28/02/26{and again will continue to do so}.
Achievements and Performance.
During this time approximately 1592 individuals participated in angling activities
offered by the company.

Financial Review.
The abridged balance sheet as at the 28" February 2026 indicated a deficit of £6,840
with an accumulated fund of £8,458 with a reserve of unrestricted funds of £12,617 ‘
The board realise that the reserve level is at an insufficient level and that all efforts must be made to
ensure that an adequate level} of reserves is maintained at al} times.
Summary.
Planned capital expenditure during this period was incurred the board recognise this and all efforts
will be made to restore the balance sheet to a position of surplus in the forthcoming financial period.
The Trustees during this period have had regard to the Commission's Public Benefit Requirement.

Going Concerns:
Health and Safety remains an area of concern and to this extent the implementation of various
control measures mitigating the level of risk are maintained with continual review of Health and
Safety policy and procedures applied at all times.
