Trustees of the charlty
The directors of the chacitable company are its trustees for the purposes of charity law. The trustees who have

Purpose
The charitable purpose 15 to relieve poverty. advance education and promote good health by the provision of
5515tance, equipment and faiilities at the W H Wylie Memorial Children's Orphanage in Kenya.
Objertives and activiiies
The trustees sh311 hold the trust fund ènd its income upon Trust to apply them for the following objects..
To relieve poverty. advance education and piomote good health by the provision of assistan￿. equipmènt and
lacilities at the W H Wylie Memorial Children's Orphanage in Kenya.
In deciding upon and plaTrnin8 our activities for the year, the Trustees have given careful consideration to the
Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activitie5 have helped io
achieve our Charity's puiposes and provide a benefit to the beneficiaiie5.
The direct benefits which result from providing a home for orphar)eiJ children include improved health and reduced
levels of stress and anxiety. In addition, the children are provided with an education which would not otherwise
have been the case a5 evidenced thfough feÈdb3ck and numbers atlending
Statement of compliance-
The trustees of the W H Wylie Mernorial Children's Orphanage Fund. during the year. complied with their duty to
have due regard to the guidance provided by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland when exercising anv
powers or duties to which the guidance is relevant.
Financial Revlew
The company's rnain source of iniotne are from donations.

As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the account5 in accordance with the Charities
Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.

Basis of independent examinerf5 weport:
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was
carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Iieland under
section 6519llbl of the Charities Act.
My examination included a review of the aciounting records kept by the Iharity and a cotnparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts,
and seeking explanatlDns from you as charity tfustees concerning any such matters.
My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe..
l. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act
2. That the account5 do not accord with those accounting records.
3. That the accounts do not comply with the accountinE requirements of the Charitie5 Art
4. That there Is further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

As the total income of the congregation is less than £250.[￿ the tongregaiion have elected in accordance with the pio¥ision5 in The Charities
(Accounts and Reports Regulations (Northern Irelandl 2015 Its prepare ils accounts on a receipts and payments basis.
FUND ACCOUNTING
Endowmeni fvnd5 are funds, the capital of which musr be retained either permanently or al the cOn￿BatiOn'S discietion,. the incorne derived
frorn the endowment 15 to be used either as restricted or unie5tricted income funds depending upon the purpose for whith th@ endowment wa5
established in the first place.
Restricted fund5 cornprise lal income from endowwnents which is to be expended only on the reslricted purposes intended by the donor and Ibl
revenue donations or grant5 foi a specific congregational activity intended by Ihe donor. Wheie these funds have unspent balances, interest on
