Working In partnershlp with other local organisations (e.g, Galbally Pearses GAC, Paddlngton Playgroup and Out of School Club, Cappagh Village Regeneration Group, Country Club, Galbally Youth Club, Galbally Friends Fund) to address local Issues and improve quality of life for local people. Working in partnership with statutory agencies and other communlly and voluntary seclor organisations to add value to the range and quality of services and actlvltles provlded for local people, Develop the knowledge, skills and capaclty of loc81 people through tralnlng and educational activities. Delivery of Game Changer, a programme targeting young people aged 16-25 in areas of personal development, employabllity and good relatlons, Supported development of Galbally Youth Club. Further work progr8ss6d with the Department of Educatlon (through the Youlh Work Capitsl Scheme) for new Youth Annexe at Galbally Community Centre. New Collab Club (mixed ablllty group) establlshed for young people. Range of health and wellbeing talks and seminars hosted. Blood Transfusion Service hosted. Hosted wedding for local couple. H08ted a Night for Aimee (In memory of a young woman killed in a c8r aGcid8nt) which ralsed clrca £30,000 for charity. Big Spring Clean done includlng significant exterlor deanlng of roof and wall8. Makeover of coffee bar with new tables and chairs purchased. New gym facility opened at Galbally Communlty Centre, attractlng an Influx of new members and provldlng approx. 12 classes per week and personal training to help improve health outcomes and reduce he8lth Inequalltles. Walklng for Health Group for 50+ stlll going strong and undertook a range of weekly walklng trlps. Gymnastios classes and various dance and filnes8 classes conllnued on a weekly basis when Covld regulations permitted. Provided facilities for contlnued use by local Playgroup and Afterschool Club,. Galbally Pe8rse8 GAC,. Cannyman Community Arts., Galbally Country Club., Galbally Parent and Toddler., Galbally Youth Club. Continued fundraising to ensure that the organlsatlon remains sustainable and lo facllltate all necessary malntenance 8nd upkeep of Galbally Communlty Centre. Financial revlew The financial statements for the year were presented at the AGM and accepted and approved by the trustees. Brian Robinson Accountancy Lld has carried out a revlew of these accounts and has completed an Independent examinerts report on the accounts. The financial performance was in line with the trustees, expectalions and the charitable company remains in a sound financial positlon at the year end. The results for the year are set out In detall on pages 7 to 19. These show an overall deficlt for the year of £18,003. At 31 August 2022, the net assels of the charitable company, Includlng property, amounted to £620,500. The nel current assets amounted to £114,007. The trustees can confirm Ihat the charity does not hold any funds that were materially in deflclt at 31 August 2022.
