## Activities

**Purposes:** The primary objective of the Charity shall be to promote the health and safety of all persons in the workplace. In order to carry out this objective it shall be the aim of the Charity: 3.1 to promote the reduction of work related fatalities, workplace incidents and cases of ill health in Northern Ireland and to maintain the interest of Members in the study, application and improvement of work-related health and safety risk; 3.2 to enlist the goodwill, active interest and co-operation of management, employees, individuals and the public for the purpose of promoting and maintaining high standards of health and safety;  3.3 to disseminate information on all matters connected with health and safety; 3.4 to undertake the promotion of health and safety events, the study of appropriate statutory requirements, the reading of papers and the promotion of lectures, discussions and such other activities as will further the Charity’s objectives; 3.5 to encourage networking and communication between those who have an interest in health and safety.
