The charity is an unincorporaled body, and is registered as a charity lor lax purtK>ses wilh HM Revenue and
Cusloms. The charity is under Ihe conlrol ol the Tiusleès as detai￿d out in Ihe charity conslilulion. The charity Is
recognised as a charity under the Charily Commi8sion lor Northern Ireland as 21 the date ol registration being 25
November 2015.

In PUFSUII of the Inslilution's principal charitable objects, a nurnber of major events and services ol worshlp look
place. Many fund-raising events for both other reSigious 2nd clvic charities were organised.
Alms and Objecllves
These are sel out in the Institut￿n,5 Mission Slalemenl and Can be SUMn￿rIsed as lo study Holy Scripture, lo
ncrease knowledge ol the reformed f211h, lo engage in Christian and ch3ritable outreach and lo continue and further
develop socSal and responsible cRizenship.
Achlevements and Perfomiance
The retention of the Sotntn8 Nursing Home, Belfast as Ihe 2020 desionated charity was confirrned, but fUndra￿l￿g
and most of Ilp ch3rills other aclNilies were seriously restricted due lo the ￿[onavIrUS pandemic. Nevertheless,
considerable ingenuity and resourcefulness were shown by the membershlp in the use ol Zwm, WhalsApp and
other r¥ources lo continue adivilies, albeit in a reslricled manner.
In partkular, fundraising lo assist the NHS and Var￿￿£ caring charities, such as the Hospice movement, in meeting
the demands placed upon Ihem was very suc￿SsIU1. This was especially commendable in th21, duiing the
ckdowns, fuThSralsing was in reality, members and supporters giving rnoney directly from Ihelr a¥￿,
Irequenlly slrelched, resources.
Teaching and training continued wherever possible using technology lo best advanlage.
The impact of pandemic rneanl that represenlauons regarding Ihe Inst￿vI￿)n'S principles and leachiThJ were
severely reslricled.

lor the year of £72,114.
Plans for the Future
Efforts in support of the Somme Nursing Home wlll conllnue Ihroughoul 2021 and Ihls, with the COmp￿tk)n of the
development ol the new Headquarters In Loughgall vill be the main project for 2021. In pursuance of Ihe'Good
Cilizenship, element ol the Mission Slalemenl, the opportunity will be taken lo rellecl upon and honour the lifetime of
public servlce given by Sir Norman Slronge Bart, who was both Speaker ol the Northern Ireland House ol Commons
and the Sovereign Grand Master of the Insliluli)n.
