**Purposes:** The Centre is established for the promotion of community participation for the preservation and protection of health by the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare for the benefit of the general public in Ballycastle and its environs in North Antrim (hereinafter called "the area of benefit") without regard to age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, disability, ethnic identity, nationality, religion or political opinion and in particular, to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation of the inhabitants of North Antrim who would benefit form such facilities as a result of their youth, age, disability or social and economic circumstances and so that their conditions of life may be improved.
