Essential Life Saving Skills for Africa - ELSSA THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY are to:- 1. Promote, develop and deliver high quality health care and professional skills training for medical, specialist, nursing, midwifery and community practitioners for low resource countries or regions. Initially to develop projects in Africa, South Sudan or in any country or region that the Trustees might decide required such support. 2. To develop medical and specialist education/training programmes for low resource countries or regions and training for health care workers. 3. Promote and facilitate the development of relevant skills and training for medical, specialist and health care workers either in the region or by providing training in appropriate institutions including the use of computer based technology. 4. Aim to develop a core group of health care facilitators and trainers within the country or region who would sustain ongoing programmes of health care and professional skills training and post-graduate development. 5. Develop a working associations and partnerships with relevant government statutory bodies, local communities, non-government organisations, existing structures, organisations and institutions in order to promote, improve and develop professional medical and health care skills.
