1. Introduction

The Trustees of St. Joseph’s Primary School Fundraising Group are pleased to present their annual report for the year ended 2025. The report outlines the activities, achievements, governance, and financial performance of the group during the year, in line with our mission to support the ongoing work and improvement of our local primary school.

2. Governing

The organisation is governed by its Constitution, which has been agreed and approved by all trustees’ members. All Committee members are appointed during the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The most recent AGM was held on 14[th] January 2026, with a whole new trustee board set up and ratified.

3. Objectives and Activities

The primary objective of the Fundraising Group is to raise funds for the maintenance and enhancement of St. Joseph’s primary school and to deliver activities for the children who attend the school.

During the year, the group carried out a range of fundraising and community-building activities including:

Each event was supported by our school teachers, parents and family members as well as many local businesses and wider community.

All the above events were ran with the incredible help of many volunteers, helping to strengthen our sense of community while meeting financial goals.

4. Achievements and Performance

The Trustees are pleased to report that the group raised a total of £16,212 during the year which was an incredible amount for the school. These funds were spent on improving school equipment and on enhancing our school children’s experiences. The group spent money on the following;

We additionally applied for and received a grant from Mid-Ulster District Council.

5. Acknowledgements

The Trustees wish to extend sincere gratitude to our previous Chairperson and treasurer who have stepped down from their roles at the end of the 2025 financial year. With a new committee now set up and many more new members now working within the group, we can only hope to build on the success of the previous group. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have helped throughout the year, volunteers, teachers, parents, sponsors and also to Fr Hughes for allowing the use of our local hall for fundraising events.

Signed on behalf of all Trustees
