The aim of the Trust is to proclaim the gospel of Salvation and Deliverance of our Lord Jesus Christ, among people of all ages and without geographical or sectarian limitation.
The “Advancement of Religion” was principally through in person Sunday morning and Wednesday evening meetings, with services also posted on line via the Barnabas Ireland Youtube channel and Facebook. There are two weekly bible study groups. Prayer meetings were a mixture of in person and on Zoom, with a separate Whatsapp group for individual prayer requests.
The congregation are encouraged to support the Samaritans Purse (E&W 1001349), “Shoebox” appeal and the Prison Fellowship (NIC 103772) hamper appeal. The Trust has hosted Interdenominational Divine Healing Ministries (NIC 101661) meetings.
The Trust has supported a pastor in Zimbabwe since 2013, and in the past year sent money to an Amuta (charity) in Israel working with the Bedouin community in the Negev. Total giving to charitable causes outside the UK was around 29% of general income during the year.
The Church is affiliated with Barnabas Fellowship of Churches (BFoC), a charity registered in England (1071300). A further 10% of general income is given towards the running of the wider BFoC work. As the local branch of BFoC does not currently operate electronic banking, the church made quarterly payments (refunded) on its behalf to an affiliated Charity (Amuta) in Israel.
