The trustees present their report ￿ollg with the financia] statemcnts of the trLLSt for the year ended
5 April 2023. The financial statements have been prepared ill accordance with the accounting
policies set out in note I to the accounts and comply with the Tn￿'S trust deed and the Statemcnt
of RKommended Practic¢ '. C]￿ltieS Act (ND 2008.
Public Benefit ststemenv Ob2ectives and ac*iTrry
The aim of the Trnst is to proclaim the gospel of Salvalioll and Deliverance of our Lord Jesus
ChrisL among people of all ages and without geo￿aphIcal or sectarian limitstion.
The "Advancemcnt of Religton" was Principally through ITr person Sunday moTning and
Wednesday evening meetings, with services alsop)sted on line via the B8rnab&s.treland youtllbe
chaunel and Facebook The weLkly bible study was by ZoonL Prayer mectings werc amixt
of in person and on Zoory with a Whatsapp ￿ollp for individual prayer requests. It w&s
recognised that.about 10 % of the congregation could not access these services owing to lack of
intern¢t access. These people were visited whenever possible.

The congregation are encouraged to support the "Shoebox" appeal and the Prison Fellowsbip
(NIC 103772) hamper appeal.
Thc TTUSt has supported a pastor in Zin]babwe since 2013. Gifts w¢r¢ also madc to two
Francophone churches in the Sahel (W Afiica) and an Educational Amula working with
Bedouins in IsraeL
An orphan in Guatemala was supported indirecdy by Con￿gatiOnal givyjjg via a restricted fimd
Adopt a Child (SC029685). This ceased in August 202? when Adopt a Child closed

The Larne Christian Fellowshxp Trust was established by Trust deed on the 26 November 1986.
New trustees may be appointed from UK r&sidents by a majority of the Trustee&
The day to day management of the Larne Cknistian Fellowship TrusL is conducted by the
Tn￿teel assisted by the TreasuTer.

Risk Management
The trilstees have considered the rnajor risks to which the tsust is &Yposed and estabjished
systems and procedures to manage those risks.
Fiduciary- all cbeques must be signed by two people. There are 5 signatories. Annual accounts
have been indepeu(lently examined since inception and the cxaminers recommendations for

The Trust has a child and IqJJnerable adu]t protection policy in place similar to that of local
scELools. This was rcviewed dwing thc year.
The Trnst Ca￿leS insurance for Publtc Liability, Employers Liability, Buildings and cx)ntcnt4 and
Business inteIruption.
The Trust has the premises inspeoted annually for fjre safety and electiical safety and CODducts
periodic health and safty checks.
The Trusthas rnailltained a FoodHysiene rating of 5*** from Mid and East Antrim Borough
Council for its kitchen facilities and practtces, althougb the cafe has not reopened following the
Covid shutdowll
Financial Review
The trust mainly relies on its donors who gave £37,808, during the financial year, with a fi]rther
£6,503 Gitl. Aid t&x rebate from H￿[￿C. There was llo Trading Income.
The Trust has at the year end £ 87,219 (2022 £91,751) of cu￿¢llt Liquid ass¢ts investments and
these reserves are being accumulated for..
l. Future paid emplo5rynent of a full time pastor.
2. Future expans1onlup￿ade of the Church facilities.
The major acquisition of assets was a new overflow carpark for 24 vehicles.

Tbe thstees are responsible for keeping accounting records which disdose with reasonable
accuracy tlle fmancial position of the trust and which enable them to ensure that the financial
statements con]ply with United Kingdom AGcounting Standards and the provisions of the trust
deed. lJe trustees are responsible for safeguarding the assets of the tn￿t and h¢llce for taking
reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other Ille￿[ar1ties.
