Durlng the year the PTAFA organised a number of events In order to achieve their charitable purpose which are det8iled below. ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE Usuallythe school have a'wish list, of items that theywould like to purchase. The PTAFAwere able to provide additionalfundingtowards these 8Xtr8 resources not provided for by the school budget. These resources are used to compliment the curriculum and make our children's learnlng experience more fulfilling and exciting. PTAFA events not only raise funds but also promote a positive presence within the communlty and bring a feeling oftogetherness within the school. Academic year 2022-2023 felt like a bit of a whirlwind. Itwas the first-year Post ¢ovid that we were able to run normal events. We had lots of events that included. Halloween and Valentines disco Lantern Parade Sponsored slide Crazy hair day Smarties (20p) Reclpe books The most successful ev8nt for us wgs the sponsored slide. I believe that a sponsored event should be In the calendar each ye8r as it is mlnimum effortfor a high return. The188St profitable event W8s crazy hair d8y SS there were a lot of familles that didn't P8ythelr£l fee, We also gave
back to the school a lot this year by payingfor the coronation tea, refreshments at sports day and the P7 leavers BBQ. We were also very successful gaining gr8nts up to the value of 4000 pounds. This w88 for sensory equlpment, and coronation celebrations. Grants are a fantastlc way of bringing money in for very little effort. All the moneythat has been raised throughout the ye8r all went towards the Happy Hut. To date we have paid for carpets, blinds, electrlc, tarmac and maths equipment. However, none of these successes have come handed to us. It was the support ofyou all and the tlme that you dedic8ted to the PTA that made these outcomes. I would just like to personally thank you allfor your support and I promise I will not have any crazy ideas thls year such as the lantern parade, so l expect no one to resign. Moving onto the year ahead our aim is to develop the outdoor area and cre8te an outdoor classroom. There has been grants put in but so f8r, we have not had any outcome on these. We need to be reallstlc and understanding th8t there is a cost-of-living cri$18 golng on. We want to create a fun excitingyearfor the pupils and the community but also croate some mu¢h-needed moneyfor our school. Carly Rodgers {Slgned on bfrhall ottho Truste8s} Chalrperson 21 June 2024
