Financial year

The financial year of Ardinariff Historical & Cultural Society’s Trustees report relates to the period from the 1[st] April 2022 to 31[st] March 2023.

The Main activities

The year 1[st] April 2022 to 31[st] March 2023 was one of recovery for Ardinariff Historical & Cultural Society. Modernisation of the kitchen and re-roofing of the store had been completed during the previous financial year so these were now successfully put into use. A family BBQ was held in July to celebrate the Jubilee. Another successful summer scheme, supported by the Ulster Scots Agency, was also held in July. Yoga classes for the community were held throughout the year.

Statement of Trustees

Our Trustees strive to improve people’s quality of life, and to maintain community spirit, in order to achieve sustainability for the local community in accordance with our constitution. By offering local people to chance to have a stake in their community and take ownership of the facilities, local heritage is strengthened which, in turn, creates new opportunities in the present. We also train our volunteers in Safeguarding, Health and Safety policies.

Financial

Our treasurer reported on our financial position for the past 12 months.

The total income for the year was £20,619 and expenditure was £24,389. This left a credit balance of £3,547.97 at 31[st] March 2023.
