PTA Annual Report 2024/25
We Started of the year with Autumn fest as our first major fundraiser. We expanded our event to cover the area the woodland and grass areas, providing more activities, crafts and pony rides for the children. This was a very productive and encouraging event from all the feedback towards planning for future events. Some equipment has been purchased from fundraising and further items must be got.
Our ‘Once upon a Christmas’ themed evening was incredible, using the facilities that we have on our school grounds, expanding our area and interaction within the school community, locals and wider afield.
A very successful non pta event happened at easter, which was widely supported by many for two young children within the school receiving treatment. A grand donation of £1000 per each child was raised.
The school production was in May 2025, of ‘ Wizard of oz’ A donation of £200 was given towards the purchase of t shirts. Two speakers were purchased for the school, both infant and senior departments. A newidea sprung into action for mother’s day/ significant others by making bracelets for children to purchase and surprise a loved one. It was easy to manage and get materials for a quick fundraisers mid terms. The yearly end of school disco was welcomed by p6-p7, whom all were ecstatic at the new dj playing.
A great incentive for events is craft fairs. We always have great interest in stall holders and support from buyers. A lot of hard work takes please every year, so a thank you to everyone who comes along to support these events. We continue to hold no assets or liabilities.
