## **Trustees Report**
The trustees present the annual report and statement of Receipts and Payments and Assets and Liabilities for Parents and Friends of Rosstulla School for the year ended 30 June 2023.
## **Objects of the Charity**
The charitable purpose of Parents and Friends of Rosstulla School is to support the pupils of Rosstulla School through fundraising, the provision of resources, support for school activities and enhancement of the educational and social experiences of children attending the school.
## **Activities of the Charity**
During the year the Association continued to support Rosstulla School following disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and worked to re-establish fundraising and support activity for the benefit of pupils.
## **Achievements, Performance and Public Benefit**
During the year the Association supported the school through fundraising and the provision of additional resources and activities for pupils.
Expenditure during the year included pupil resources, classroom equipment, sensory and play equipment, wet weather gear, pupil activities, residential trip support, educational and physical activity events and fitness/gym equipment.
The trustees believe that these activities provided public benefit by supporting pupils’ educational, social, sensory and physical development and enhancing opportunities available to children attending Rosstulla School.
## **Financial Review**
Total receipts for the year amounted to £3,348.05 and total payments amounted to £8,024.59, resulting in a closing balance of £9,694.39 at 30 June 2023.
The trustees are satisfied that the Association remained financially viable at year end and retained sufficient funds to support future activity.
## **Structure, Governance and Management**
Parents and Friends of Rosstulla School is managed by a committee responsible for the governance and administration of the Association.
The accounts for the year ended 30 June 2023 have subsequently been independently reviewed by Jeremy Adams, who is independent of the committee.
