~~Objectives and Activities~~
The charity's objectives are:

to improve relationships between home and school.

to raise funds and assist the school in providing an enriched curriculum for our children and enhance their learning experiences.

to engage in activities and provide facilities and equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

to provide the means for all pupils of the school to avail of extra curricular activities thus promoting positive education, health and wellbeing benefits.
The charity's main activities include fundraising events for the sole benefit of the children.

Achievements and Performance
The main achievements of the charity this year were:

Our two main fundraising events this year were once again the very succesful Halloween Disco and the Christmas draw.

¢ The PTFA paid for the travel costs to the P7 residential, as well as trips to Titanic Belfast, the Folk Park, and other end of year class trips.

¢ The children had the opportunity to take part in yoga which was funded by a grant generously received from the Community Foundation.

¢ The PTFA provided support for the school's Cross Country event, providing medals, water, crisps and biscuits for the 600 pupils who took part.

¢ The PTFA provided funding to purchase prizes for literacy week and math week, helping encourage participation and celebrate achievement across all key stages.

¢ We provided funding for Easter Eggs for the Trocaire draw, which brought excitement to the children while also promoting the school's charitable ethos.

¢ The PTFA provided the children with a Santa visit, and selection box and for nursery a visit from the Easter bunny.
-
¢ The PTFA continue to run a uniform bank which is free and available to all parents.

Public Benefit
The trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission's public benefit requirement statutory guidance and have regard to this when running the charity.
The charity offers a public benefit as it encourages families from diverse backgrounds to take part in and support events in the school community. The PTFA aims to help support the advancing of education of pupils in the school. This is demonstrated through pupils having access to resources, events, activities, and links with the local community which are not available through direct school funding.
~~Structure, Governance and Management~~
The charity is managed by an executive committee consisting of all appointed trustees. The selection and appointment of new trustees is dealt with by the committee. The charity is governed by a Constitution.
Financial Review
The charity returned a net deficit in funds of £2,583 (2024 ~~-~~ £6,579 surplus). The results for the year are shown on pages 6 to 7.
It is the policy of the charity that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a specific use should be maintained at a level which will ensure that they will be able to continue the current activities in the event of a drop in funding. The charity aims to continue to increase its reserves to ensure the stability of its services and operations.
