The charity's main activities include fundraising events for the sole benefit of the children.

Achievements and Performance
The main achievements of the charity this year were:
The PTFA held the following fundraising activities. Halloween disco. Christmas (Iraw,
crowdfunding Zumba and Tai Chi.
During the year the PTFA w¢r¢ awarded grants from Asda, Tesco, Derry City and Strabanc
District Council and Sports NI.
These grants are gratefully received and enabled the PTFA to provide funding for additional
resources and learning exp¢ri¢nccs.
The PTFA purchased two new outdoor classrooms for the children. One is located in the
junior site and the other in the senior site.
We bought new gaelic and football kits and team hoodies. New sports equipment has been
purchascd to enable th¢ children to try out a wider varicty of sporting activities.
These include portable basketball nets. tennis racquets and hockey sticks.
The PTFA provided the children with gardening tools, gloves, watering cans, seeds and soil
to ¢nabl¢ them to plant and look after their own vegctabl¢s.
The children got opportunities to take part in yoga, Bollywood dance. Chinese fan dance and
Ceilidh dancing.
The PTFA provided the children with a cinema day. Santa visit, and selection box and
for nursery a visit from the Easter bunny.
The PTFA provided funding to purchase prizes from literacy week and math week.
The PTFA continue to rLm a uniforn] bank which is free and available to all parents.

Publie Benefit
The trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission's public benefit requirement statutory
guidance and hav¢ regard to this when running the charity.
The charity offers a public benefit as it encourages families from diverse backgrounds to take part in and
support events in the school community. The PTFA aims to help support the advancing of education
of pupils in the school. This is demonstrated through pupils having access to resources, cvcnts,
activities, and links with the local community which are not available through direct school funding.
Structure Governance and Mana
ement
The charity is managed by an executive committee consisting of all appointed trustees. The
selection and appointment of ncw trustees is dealt with by the committee.
The charity is governed by a Constitution.
Financial Review
The charity returned a net deficit in funds of £2.154 (2022 - £6,543 deficit). The results for the year are
shown on pages 6 to 7.
It is the policy of the charity that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a specific
usc should b¢ maintained at a level which will ensure that they will be able to continuc the current
activities in the event of a drop in funding. The charity aims to continue to increase its reserves
to ensure the stability of its servic¢s and operations.

Respective responsibilities of charity trustees and examiner
As the charity's trustees you are responsibl¢ for the preparation of th¢ accounts in accordance
with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act
follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Commission
under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act
stat¢ whether particular matt¢rs have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner's report
I havc cxamined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charitics Act and
my examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity
Commission for Northern Ireland und¢r section 65(9)(b) of th¢ Charities Act.
My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in thc accounts. and seeking explanations from you as charity
trustees concerning any such matters.
My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to
