It is registered for 24 children with the Department of Health and Social Services and is now currenlly funded by the Department of EduCat￿on for Northern Ireland for 13 pre-school children. There are currenuy 20 ehildren enrolled in the group. 13 of whom are in pre - school year and 7 in their pre preschool year. There are 4 members of staff 2 of which are permanent. While there has been a reduction in current intake the committee 15 confident that this will be temporary. The playgroup remains on a sound financial fooling, 8 great reflection of the h8rd work and 3chievemenls of the staff and committee throughout the year and a demonstration of the high esteem in which the organizalion is held within the lo￿1 community. The associab.on has excelled in all external inspections. We are currently members of Earfy Years the organisation for young children and underpin their values. Financial review The charity's incoming ￿SoUrceS for the year ended 3110312021 amounted lo £64,381 12020:£51,6191 Total ftjnds at 31 03.21 amounted to £68,673 {2020 £67,140). The company remains financially sound despite the pressures on funding and the number of pupils is encouraging which secures the financial position of the company. The difeclors are satisfied with the financial position and are hopeful that the eompany will continue to flourish wth the support of the local community. Reserves Policy The charity does not have a formal reseives policy. The trustees believe that due to the Tecurring nature of the income received by the charity it holds sufficient reserves lo meet ils requirement for the short lo medium term. Plans for futu￿ periods The group is satisfied that the arrangement5 afe in place for it lo cater adequately for the present numbers and to cope with any fvture expansion. The company continue to seek funding from all available sources in order to eonts.nue lo enhan￿ Ihe quality of service that il provides.
