The Trustees present the annual report for Larne Gospel H311 forthe year ended 31. December 2023
Objectlves and Activities
The charitable purpose of Larne Gospel Hall is the advancement of religion and the relief of povertv.
The principal function of Lame Gospel Hall is to advance the evangelical Christian Faith for the
benefit of the public through various attivities including meetings, youth activities and
parentltoddler groups. The relief of poverty or financial hardship by means of practical help.
Achievements, Performance and Public Benefit
The trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity commission for Northern Ireland's
guidance on public benefit to ensure the activities entered into during the year have helped to
achieve the Churches objective5 and activities, as well as providing public benefit and the relief of
poverty.

Our operating income and expenditure report shows a surplus in 2023. We expect a surplus in 2024.
Going Concern
The trustees have reviewed the budgets for the year ahead and are satisfied that there are adequate
funds in place to ensure Larne Gospel Hall can continue its activities and the financial statements for
the year ended 2023 can be signed off as a going concern.
Structure, Governance and Management
The charitable trust deed made the 2. day of June 2014 is the governing document for Larne Gospel
Hall.
Recruitment and Appointment of Trustees
There must be at least 3 trustee5. Every trustee must be appointed by a resolution of the trustees
passed at a special meeting. In selecting individuals for the appointment as trustees, the trustees
must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of
the charity.

Compliance and Publlc Benefit
The trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's
guidance on public benefit to ensure that activities entered into during the year have helped to
achieve the trustees objectives and activities, as well as providing public benefit and the relief of
poverty as set out in the governing document dated 2 June 2014
Statement of Trustees Responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees, report and Statement of receipts and
payments and statement of assets and liabilities in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
The law applicable to charities in Northern Ireland with income of less that £250,000 requires
trustees to prepare a statement of receipts and payments and a statement of assets and liabilities
for each financial year.
The trustees are responsible for keeping accounting records that are sufficient to show and explain
the transartions of Larne Gospel Hall.
