## **ANNUAL REPORT 2022** 

FOCUS have had another active year in the Community & Voluntary sector. Focus have participated in local Council's Community Planning process, engaging with the public during the consultation period by presenting key factors of the process. Focus have joined the CVS Forum and have been involved in Community & Voluntary Sector activities. 

Focus are represented as a Social Partner on the PeacePlus Partnership Board for Fermanagh & Omagh. 

Focus continued to provide full assistance and support to Omagh Access Forum as they continue on their lobbying role on accessibility issues for people with a disability. Focus provided practical resources on a loan basis to groups on a daily basis. Resources include laptops, tablets, projectors and PA system. 

Focus continue to provide full admin support to Omagh Safer Streets Ltd in their provision of CCTV for Omagh Town centre. 

Focus completed Training needs analysis on a number of groups during a focus group and process of reporting to the Charity Commission was highlighted as a priority. 

Also highlighted within the analysis was the need for outcomes based accountability training. 

Focus continue to meet the needs of local organisations by providing general support and 

advice, especially around Governance and finances. During 2021/22, Focus attended 94 meetings of various group members. 

Focus has assisted 12 member groups in preparing for their own AGM as well as independently examining accounts for 10 groups' AGM reports. 

FOCUS also provide steering and line management for the New Beginnings, Community Voices project, funded by The Executive Office’s Central Good Relations Fund.
