Limbless Support N.I. - NIC 100571 Trustees Report Year Ended 31 December 2025
The trustee's present their report and financial information for the year ended 31 December 2025.
The trustee's are satisfied that the charity met its objectives for the year in question and look forward to the coming year to meet the challenges and opportunities that will arise. Donations were generous and appreciated.
The organisation provides benefit via a reduction in the feelings of confusion, loneliness and isolation that many of the amputees face, done through regular public events in our local areas of Armagh Down and Antrim. These events give the opportunity to those affected to mix more with the community and have a better quality of life. We also provide a benefit to the families of those affected in that we provide a rest period for the families in our provision of a building and environment that the members can avail of outside home. The Public Benefit is demonstrated to the amputees, their families and the wider community in which they are involved by them;
- Gaining confidence by interaction with other similar people such as themselves. - Becoming more mobile by actively participating in physical activities. - Feeling less conscious of their loss of limbs with their attendance and participation in our various events and fun days. No Harm or private benefit arises as a result of the Charities Purposes
The Trustees have had regard to the Commission's Public Benefit requirement.
