therefore, It Is Imperatlve that the recreatlonal servlces and actlvltles whlch
we provlde to our communlty contlnue to exlst in order to address thls shortfall In provlslon
wlthln the proxlmlty of Pomeroy and Mld Ulster, As always our organlsatlon Is fully commltted
to explorlng every avenue to ensure that communlty Ilfe wlthin Pomeroy Is as soclally
Inclusive, safe and as Intergeneratlonal as posslble. Part of our fundralslng efforts have
Included runnlng a 'Santa's Maglcal Forest event In the run up to chrlstmas.to ralse funds
almed at Increaslng the capaclty of our organlsatlon to hold more actlvltles withln the area, A
large proportlon of the actlvltles whlch we provlde Pumeroy resldents wlth focus on enga8lng
marglnallsed members of the communlty, such as the elderlyi women and forelgn natlonals
that have recontly Immlgrated to the area. We a150 run soclal mornlngs/coffee mornln85 and
knlttlng groups for eldorly members of the Pomeroy communltyto engage In, we belleve that
the soclal aspect of the actlvltles provldes our elders the opportunlty to soclalise and enga8e
wlth thelr peers In a relaxlng, tolèrant and safe envlronment. We have the ambltlon of hostlng
several new fundraising events in collaboratlon wlth other local cornmunity 8roups operatlng
wlthln the area I'o emphaslse our commltment to communlty Ilfe wlthln the Pomeroy area,

At the AGM 2023, Icieran Qulnn gave a report of the prevlous year's highllghts, of whlch
always includes Sant'a's maglcal forest, whlch tal(e pla¢@ In Pomeroy Forest annual, Its was an
outstandlng succe55 and saw the local communlty young and old come together to help for
the charlty. And not forgettlnE the generoslty of the people who have donated to the charity
from th@ Frlends of Cavankeeran.

plannlng the actlvltles for the year have consldered the Charlty Comm1551on for Northern
Ireland's guldance on publlc beneflt to ensure that the actlvltles have helped to achleve the
charlty's purposes and provlde benefit to the beneflclarles.

FINANaAL REVIEW:
The flnanclal report for the yearwas presented at the 2023 AGM and accepted and approved
by the trustees. Brian Robinson Accountancy Ltd has carrled out a revlew of these
accounts and has completed an Independent examlner's report on the accounts.
Income for the year was £154232 and expefjdlture for the year amounted to £202048 glvlng
an overall deflclt of £47816 for the year.
At the year end funds at bank amounted to £30871.
The Tru5tee5 can conflmi that the charlty does not hold any funds that were materlally in
deflclt at the end of the year.
