Benefit the public by changing attitudes towards people with disabilities, by recognising the talents and abilities of the person, not their disability;  2.	To change the way people think about and define “disability”;  3.	To break down and end the internalized shame among people with disabilities;   4.	To promote the belief in society that disability is a natural part of human diversity in which people living with disabilities can take pride in their contribution to society;  5.	Celebrate the lives of people with disabilities and their achievements;  6.	Express the contribution to society of those living with disabilities;  7.	Ensure equal opportunities for people with disabilities
