St John ABC – Trustee Report – Year Ending 31 March 2025
Objectives & Activities
St Johns ABC was established in 2010 in response to demand in the community for a boxing club to cater for the needs of young people in the Swatragh and district area. Since opening the club has had incredible success with boxing training 4 nights per week. Pilates and Boxercise sessions available. Coaches volunteer their time and commitment to train and take young people to tournaments and competitions each year.
St Johns are a well established club at a local, county and provincial level.
Achievements and Performance
Sparring Sessions & Flapper Shows
Participation in numerous boxing tournaments and shows. Pilates sessions – men and ladies only groups. Boxercise sessions – 6 week sessions.
Fundraisers
Club Shows/Jim Noonan Memorial Show, sponsored skips & 5K runs
Successes
St Johns have significant success in the ring this year with boxers participating in and winning at Novice level, County Derry C/ships, Nortwest Zone C/ship, Ulster & National level.
Financial Review
This year St Johns ABC recorded an income of £22,758.96 and expenditure figure of £28,386.28
This Annual report was approved by the Trustees of St Johns ABC.
