## Activities

**Purposes:** To generally promote awareness of the nature and extent of the impact of permanent disability on the quality of life of those suffering from it, particularly within the Lisburn City area. To allieviate the disadvantages of permanent and temporary disability. To provide services which facilitate and advance the independence of such disabled persons in daily living activities outside the home environment.  To enhance the confidence, well-being and enjoyment of life of disabled persons through integration in social activities. To liaise with other societies, associations or bodies having common or sharing similiar interests or objects.

**What the charity does:** The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
