This report relates to the financial year 1 October 2021 – 30 September 2022. 

The principal address of the charity is to raise funds to provide additional educational material to St John’s Primary School. 

The following individuals were the charity trustees on the date they approved the report (6 March 2022) and served as charity trustees during the year:

The trustees have read the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance. 

The Parent Support Group received resignations from the following trustees during the year: 

Barbara Mellon Brendan Grimley Colette McKearney Marie Loughran Sharon Kerr Siobhán McLaughlin Stephanie Millar 

Trustees formed the charity in 1999. A constitution governs it as an unincorporated association. 



The charitable purposes of the charity are to advance the education of the pupils of St John’s Primary School in Moy, Co Tyrone by providing or assisting in the provision of educational facilities at the school and ancillary to this and in furtherance of this object, the Group may: (a) Foster more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others who befriend the school; and 

(b) Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it. 

With getting used to life post-Covid, the charity was better positioned to further the above purposes for the public benefit. We carried out the following activities, to name a few: 

- Monthly non-uniform days 

- Sponsored Pancake Race 

- Art competition 

The main achievements of St John’s Primary School Parent Support Group during the year were: 

- Donation towards interactive whiteboards 

- P7 leavers trip 

- School fun day 

A review of the charity's financial position at the end of the year was: 

In the financial year from October 2021 to September 2022, the charity had an income of £7,973.73 and an expenditure of £6,612.10. 

There are no funds held by the charity that are materially in deficit.
