**Purposes:** The Association is established for the relief of poverty, and to provide humanitarian aid to people in European Union/Eastern Europe (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) who are in need of such assistance as a result of their poverty or social and economic circumstances (herein after called “the beneficiaries”) and in particular.  	to provide or to assist others in providing shelter, food, clothing, or other equipment or facilities as may be provided;  	to provide in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for said people;  	to co-operate with any local authority of charitable organisation in the area of benefit or with any charities in Northern Ireland in the delivery of humanitarian aid to the area of benefit for the furtherance of any of the above objects.
