The directors present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 29 February 2024,
Princlpal actlvlty
The principal activity of the company is to provide an integrated and innovatlve faclllty for all sections of the
community, which also enhances the economic, social and environmenial aspects of life for the multiply
deprlved community of Creggan.
Future development8
The company has fixed assets worth around 1 mllllon pounds with a significant land bank, At presgnt th&
board is in negotatlons to sell a small parcel of land for around £150,000 whlch will be used to clear any
current debts and allow a sum for future cashflow. They are also working on a visioning exerciselmaster
plan with local council to refresh and relaunch the park on a large scale. This will include working with local
councils, tourism officers, funders and others to optomise the various products on offer at the park 8nd
enhance long-term sustalnablllty.

The directors of Creggan Country Park Enterprises Ltd for the purposes of company law are responsible for
preparing the Directors, Annual Report and the flnancial statements in accordance with applicable law and
United Kingdom Accounting Standards (Unlted Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
Company law requires the directors to prepare financial statements for each financial year, which give a true
and falr vlew of the state of affairs of the charitable company and of the incornlng resources and 8ppllcatlon
of resources, including the income and expendltur8, of the charitable company for that period. In preparing
these financial statements, the directors are requlred to.,
select suitable accounting policies 8nd then 8pply them consistently;
observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP IFRS 102);
make judgements and èstimates that are reasonable and prudent.,
state whether applicable UK Accounting Standards have been followed, subject to any material departures
disclosed and èxplained in thè financial statements
prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriale to presume that the
charitable company will continue in operation.

The directors are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that dlsclose wlth reasonable
accuracy at any time the financial position of the charitsble company and enable them to ensure that the
financial statements comply with the Companles Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the
as5els of the charitable company and hence for taking reasonable step5 for the prevention and detection of
fraud and other irregularities.
In so far as the directors are aware..
there is no relevant information of which the charitable company's Independent examiner is unaware; and
the dlrectors have taken 811 steps that they ought to have taken to make themselves aware of any relev£nt
information and to establish that the independent examiner is aware of that information.

We report on the accounts of the company for the year ended 29 February 2024, which are set out on pages
5 to14.

requirements of the Companies Act 2006. Havlng satisfied ourselves thal the charity is not subject to audit
under company law, and Is ellglble for Independent examination, it is our responsibility to.,
examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act 2008.,
follow the procedures laid down In the general directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern
Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act 2008.

Basls of independent examlner's report
We have éxamined your chsrlty 8c¢ounts as requirèd under section 65 of thè Charities Act and our
examinatlon was carried out in accordance with the general directlons glven by the Charlty Commission for
Northern Ireland under Section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. The examination included a review of the
accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those record5. It
also included a conslder8tlon of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations
from you as charity directors concernlng gny such matters.
Our role is to stata whether any material matters have come to our attention giving us cause to
believe-
that accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 386 of the Companies Act 2006.,
that the accounts do not accord with those accounting records.,

Accountlng Conventlon
The significant accounting policles applled In the preparation of thes8 financl81 statements are set out
below. These policies have been conslstently applied to all years presented unless otherwise stated.
The charity constitutes a publlc benefit entity as defined by FRS102. The financial statements have
been prepared In accordance with the accounting policies set out In notes to the accounts and comply
with the charlty's governing document, the Charities Act {Northern Ireland) 2008 and Accounting and
Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practlce applicable to ch8ritles preparing their
accounts In accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland publlshed In October 2019 ISORP 2019) and thè Companlos Act 2006.
The financlal statements are prepared on a going concern basis under the historical cost convention,
modlfi8d to Included certain items at fair value. The financlal statements are presented In sterling whlch
is the functional currency of the charity.
Income
(i) Grants
Grants represents all amounts received 8nd receivable during the year.
Capital grants are released to the profit and loss account In the year in which they are received in
line with the SORP Accounting & Reportlng by Charties 2015.
Revenue grants are credited to the Statement of Flnancial Activilies in the year they are received.

Tanglble assets
Tangible assets are initially recorded at cost, and are subsequently stated at cost less any accumulated
depreciation and Impairment losses.
Any tangible assets carried at revalued amounts are recorded at the fair value at the date of revaluation
less any subsequent accumulated depreciation and subsequent accumulated impairment losses.
An increase in the carrylng amount of an asset as a result of a revaluation, is reccgnised in other
comprehensive income and accumu18ted In capital and reserves, excepl to the extent It reverses a
revaluation decrease of the same asset prevlously recognised in profit or loss. A decrease In the
carrylng amount of an asset as a result of revaluation is recognised in other comprehensiv& income to
the extent of any prevlously recognised revaluation increase accumulated in capital and reserves in
respect of that asset. Where a revaluation decrease exceeds the accumulated revaluation gains
