Objectives and Activitles
The Company's obiecbves are specifically reslricled lo the advancement of education and the
development of children and young people under the age of 14 Ihereinafter called the beneficiaries'}
resident in the Omagh area and its environ5 In particular bul not exclusively Ihereinafter called the
'area of benefil'l through the encouragement of parents and guardiansIca￿rs in the understanding of
the proviso for the needs of such children through community groups wilhoul distinction of age,
gender, sexual orientation. nationality, ethnic identity. political or religious opinion, by associating the
slalulory authorities, community and voluntary organisalions and the inhabilanls in a common effort to
advance education and lo provide facilities In the interest of social welfare for recreation or other
leisure lime occupation. with the object of improving the Condit￿n$ of life for Ihe inhabilanls in
particular.
We have referred to the guidance contained in the charity commissions general guidance on public
benefit when ￿VIewIng our aims and objectNes and in the planning out future aclivilies.

Omagh Early Years Centre is a non-profit making wilh the net surplus of £30,582 for the yeai. There
wa5 Capital Expenditure incurred during the year that was not grant aided. The Management
continues to be engaged in ongoing efficiency Savings and is aware of the sustainable use of
resources.
Reserves Poli¢y
The Directors of Omagh Eaily Years Centre have sel a reserves policy which requires that reserves
be maintained al a level which enstjres that the company's core activity could continue during a period
of unforeseen difficulty. The d1￿ClorS aspife that the Company should hold in Reserves an amount not
less than £391.500 in an effort lo minimise the risks identified lo the company.

The trustees. who are also directors for the purKoses of company law, are responsible for p￿parIng
the InJslees' report and the financial slalemenls in accordance with applicable law and United
Kingdom Acoounlin9 Standards Iuniled Kingdom Generalty Accepted Accounting Practice}
Company law requires the charity Iruslees lo prepare financial stalemenls for each year which give a
true and lair view of the slate of affairs of the charitable company and the incoming resources and
application of resources, including the income and expendrture, for that period.
