Main Activities To promote the celebration of the Worship of God and His son Jesus Christ and the preaching of the gospel ot'.lesus Christ and the proinotion of the spiritual teaching of a religious body Achievements The year 2022 was challengiiig with coining out of the COVID-19 pandemic and the reslrictions it had on iiiany aspects of church life, but also very rewarding io being able to get back to meeting in person. Tlie sei'vices returned to physical Imeetings with some socially distanced protocols still in place i n the early part ot" the year where the guidance from the auihorities required ihis. Not all services returiied to mectiii physically in person. An online prayer Ineeling continues and has provided some opportunities for t'ellowship with soine brethren froin Europe and North America. This also is provides an opportunity to share iii fel lowship and to provide contact especially to ihose who felt isolated or lived alone. The Lliui'ch continued to receive teaching from Bible on a range of practical and prophetic teachings. These studies took place each Sunday Inorning. The objective is lo spiritual ly strengythen the brethren to grow in the girace and k. nowledg7e of the Lord and apply His teachings in our daily lives. A sigyiii ficant part of the teaching7 the Lord directed us in was to slir up the church in evangelism. There is an oiig70ing focus on shai'ing our *'aith in Jesus Christ and to share the gyreatest hope through the sharing of the gyospel. A regular eveningy service was held once per month on a Saturday or Suiiday evening with the focus on evangelism. The church also participated in a live streamed online International Conference wilh our associated tellowships in the USA, Canada, Brazil and Portugal in March 2022. There was a time of worship, fel low.ship and teachi ngy in order to strengthen the fellowship between us. The Sunday school classes which had been curtailed significantly due to the pandemic where able to meet iii pei-son again lo pray togyether, hear God's Word and share some of their experiences. The age appi'opriate teacliings were provided to help the children grow in the knowledgye and grace of the Lord. Tlirougyh the Lord's direction a new group was set up for the young adults, meaning those who had left the Sunday school due to being over 15 years old. This is run bi-weekly and enables some discussion and pl'ayer on topics facing the young adults and the biblical teachings and answers related to these. Financial Review Financial Performance Financial performance in the year to 31. December 2022 has shown a surplus of income over expenditure of £12,431 was achieved for the year compared to a sutplus of £11,372 in the year to 31., Decembei. 2021. The year ended with a general fund balance of £46,751 (compared £34,320 for the saine date last year}. Detailed accounts can be found on page 5 & 6. Siruclure, Governance, and Management Governing Document and Constitution The Trust is an unincorporaled association and is governed by a Trust Deed adopted 18, February 2003. The Trust is managed and overseen by all the trustees who meet regularly and at least once per nionih to discuss the administrative and spiritual needs of the church.
