Objectives;
St Ciaran's Support Group act in a supporting role to St Ciaran's Primary School
Cushendun. The Support Group do this by developing effective relationships be￿en staff,
parents and others assocÉated with the school and by also engaging in activities or providing
facilities or equipment which support the school in advanang the education of the pupils.
St Ciaran's support Group beneffts the PLSpils, parents, staff and others affiliated with St
Ciaran's Primary School by raising funds, providing advice, publishing or distributing
information, co-operating with other bt)dies, acquinng or hiring necessary equipment, setting
aside funds for special purposes or future expendtture and taking out public liability and
personal accident Insuran￿ to cover meets.ngs and activities.

Fundraising aclivities 2018-,
Our monthly draw continues to be the main fundraising activtty. which generates around
£3000 per year to go towards the charrty expenditure. As well as this the Mind and Body
Bootcamp proved a very worthwhile programme not just in tems of fundraising but also for
communrty cohesion and improved physical and Tnental health.
The Support Group also ran our usual annual activities- HaIl0v￿n disco. movte nights,
Christmas draw, quiz and coffee moming.
Expenditure 2018.
We were delighted to support the Classroom Assistant support implemented in the school
this year which was our main cost. We continue to support the travel requirements for the
school for various school trips.

Additional grarts..
We were fortunate enough to be recipients of DARD funding to equip the classrooms with 3
new iPads, we have purchased this equipment and have been reimbursemed from DARD.
We are delighted that our yearfy events are so Y￿11 supported.
