Independent Examiner's Report to the Gleann ABC
I report on the Accounts of the Gl¢ami ABC for the Year Ended 31, August 2017, which are
set out on the attached Receipts and Payments Account.
Respective Responsibilities of Gleann ABC and Examiner
As the Ch￿Ity'S Trust¢es you are responsible for the Preparation of the accounts ill
aceordanee with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
It is my responsibility to..
Examine the Accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act.
Follow the procedures laid in the general directions given by the Commission
under section 65 (9) (b) of the Charities Act
State whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Examiner's Report
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Carities Act and
my examination was carried out in accordance with the general directors given by the Charity
Con)mission for Nortbern Ireland under section 65 (9) (b) of the Ch￿ltieS Act.
My exan]ination included a review of the accounting records kept by Gleann ABC and a
comparison of the accounts presented with thosc records. It also included consideration of
8J]y usual items or disclosuTes in tb¢ accounts, and seeking explanations from you as the
ChaTity Trustees concerning any such matters.
My role is to state whether any n￿terIal Tnatters have come to my attention gin￿Incr me
cause to believe:
l. That accountino records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Cl]arities
Act.
2. That the Accounts do not accord with those accounting records.
3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charties Act
4. That there is fLWther information needed for a prop¢r understanding of the accowits to
be reached.

Independent Examiner's Ststemellt
I have completed my examination and have no Concerns in respect of the matters (l) to (4)
listed above and, in corn]ection Thith following the Directions of the Charity Commission for
Northern Ireland, I must however bighlight one concern namely that the Club Members bave
had to advance fimds to e[￿ble the Club to remain viable. The members may not be able to
sustain this level of personal input and it is obvious that an altemative source of funding
should be sourced.
