**Purposes:** The Club is established to create a social opportunity to advance social inclusion, education and to promote the preservation and protection of health and well being among people aged in the region of 50 years and over (hereinafter called "beneficiaries") in Gilford and its wider environs ("the area of benefit") without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, disability/ability, race, political, religious or other opinion, and in particular:  to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for the education, recreation and leisure-time occupation of the beneficiaries who by reason of social or economic circumstances have need of such facilities.
